I ran into problem in parametric modelling. Trying to load "Macro EasyAlias" with the Add-On Manager - it just spins on loading macros.

I had not thought to also allow for rows. I believe there have been some recent improvements to the spreadsheet interface available from python, making it easier to find the selected cells.
