The repair shop informed me that the 4 bolts on the fan hub sheared off. It was the repair shop's opinion that 4 bolts are not enough to handle the stress placed upon the hub. Or it might just be sticking and finally opens at a much higher temp. But I would also be sure you don't have something plugged or blocked in the coolant system too.
